Data Deletion Instructions

Email the Revault privacy team using the email address associated with your account. Use the subject line Revault Data Deletion Request.

If you cannot access the registered email, explain that in your request. We will use another reasonable method to verify your identity and authority.

• Your full name and registered Revault email address.
• The company or workspace name, if applicable.
• Whether you want to delete your user account, team membership, complete company workspace, WhatsApp connection metadata, or specific information.
• The reason for the request, if you choose to provide one.

1. We acknowledge the request, normally within seven days.
2. We verify the requester’s identity and, for workspace deletion, authority to act for the company.
3. We identify the records covered by the verified request.
4. We delete or de-identify eligible data and confirm completion, normally within 30 days after verification.

A complex request, legal restriction or active security investigation may require additional time. If so, we will explain the delay where permitted.

Depending on the scope and authority of the request, deletion may include:

• User profile, email sign-in sessions and team membership.
• Company profile and workspace configuration.
• Stored API-key hashes and integration records.
• Connected WhatsApp Business Account and phone-number metadata stored by Revault.
• Message event metadata, webhook configuration and related operational records where deletion is permitted.

API keys are revoked as part of complete workspace deletion.

We may retain limited records when necessary to meet legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, contractual or Meta/WhatsApp platform obligations. Where possible, retained records are restricted, minimized or de-identified and are not used for unrelated purposes.

Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove encrypted backup copies. Backup data remains protected and is removed or overwritten through the normal backup-retention cycle.

Deleting Revault data does not automatically delete information held independently by Meta, WhatsApp or a connected customer company.

You may also remove Revault from the relevant Meta Business Integration or WhatsApp Business Account settings. To delete or control information held by Meta, use Meta’s account, business and privacy tools. Disconnecting may immediately stop Revault from sending messages or receiving events for that WhatsApp asset.

If your Revault account belongs to a customer company, that company may control the workspace information. We may notify or refer the request to an authorized company administrator. A team member can request removal of their own membership, but only an authorized owner can request deletion of the complete company workspace.
